Mountain Jewel is located in the gated Shagbark Community off Wears Valley Road at the Pigeon Forge City limits. It has a very large master bedroom level with king bed, jetted tub and full bath. The first floor is a great room with sleeper sofa, dining area, kitchen, laundry and 1/2 bath. Perfect for a couple's getaway.
You will find both Keurig and Mr. Coffee style coffee pots, some k-cup pods in different flavors, creamer pods, sugar and sweetener packets, also some snacks to start your stay. There is a basket of beach towels for the hot tub, hand pump soap at each sink, small soap packages, paper towels. 2 new toilet paper in each bathroom, dish soap, and dishwasher pods.
The cabin has a woodsy valley view from the covered hot tub deck, a comfortable great room with dining area and upstairs an oversized King bedroom suite.
The Shagbark Community has a 24/7 manned security gate with a texting system to keep guests aware of safety and helpful community information. You will find 2 common areas available to you at no cost. The meadow pavilion area by the creek has walking trail, dog park, playground, Frisby golf, tether ball, pavilion with picnic tables and a small putting green. Further along N. Clear Fork past the Community Center is the Shagbark swimming pool and large court with tennis, pickle ball, corn hole and basketball with equipment provided.
Only minutes from Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains National Park.

Cute cabin, clean, nice Location. There was a strong odor coming from upstairs bathroom. But I’m sure that can be fixed.

Great little place in a gated community with community amenities like pool and parks to utilize. Cabin in great for a little get away and has all the essentials for you. Hot tub and grill out back were great extras to cook dinner and relax in the evenings. The cabin is easy to get to, just 10 minutes outside Pigeon Forge and only about 30 minutes from Gatlinburg. Cathy was great, very good communication and had everything all set so check-in was easy. Very safe neighborhood and lots of friendly people. Would recommend for that little weekend getaway.

Easy reservation and check in process. Safe and secure gated community. Cabin and amenities were all working and easy to use. We enjoyed our stay.

It was nice for a quick get away but I wouldn't stay there past a few days. I kept picking dog hair off of my clothes the entire stay. Found food bits in the floor. Hot tub didn't want to work right. Like it was ok for a weekend but a full week would have been way too much.

As a whole the cabin was nice! It has some maintenance issues. It was dusty. They don’t move stuff to do dust. We couldn’t find a set of sheets for the sofa bed. The shower needs re caulking with clean caulk and the bathroom ceiling needs remudding. Otherwise it was great!
