This secluded 2 king bedroom cabin is the perfect getaway you have been needing. Whether it is the weekend or a honeymoon, this secluded cabin offers the finest Smoky Mountain experience. You can relax in the hot tub or gaze at the breathtaking views of the Smokies while enjoying the gas fireplace and comfortable great room.
You will find both Keurig and Mr. Coffee style coffee pots, some k-cup pods in different flavors, sugar and sweetener packets, also some snacks to start your stay. There is a basket of beach towels for the hot tub, hand pump soap at each sink, small soap packages, paper towels. 2 new toilet paper in each bathroom, dish soap, and dishwasher pods.
The Shagbark Community has a 24/7 manned security gate with a texting system to keep guests aware of safety and helpful community information. You will find 2 common areas available to you at no cost. The meadow pavilion area by the creek has walking trail, dog park, playground, Frisby golf, tether ball, pavilion with picnic tables and a small putting green. Further along N. Clear Fork past the Community Center is the Shagbark swimming pool and large court with tennis, pickle ball, corn hole and basketball with equipment provided.

The cabin is only 15 minutes from light #3 on the Parkway in Pigeon Forge and 8 minutes more from there to Dollywood. You will have 4-lane highway to the Pigeon Forge city limits then about 2.5 miles of good county roads to SHAGBARK with paved roads all the way.

Cabin was plenty big for the two of us. Loved that there was a bathroom in loft! Bathrooms were nicely renovated and clean, plenty of towels, TP, soap. We LOVED the hot tub!
Deck had been upgraded to a composit. But the outdoor furniture and the rest of cabin was a bit tired. A good deep cleaning/dusting would also help. All areas we used were clean, however!
The recliners were amazing (though stained)...great to put feet up after a day of hiking. Kitchen was adequately equipped, with a bonus wonderful Keurig “coffee bar” and plenty of creamers! ( though a fresh coat of paint on cabinets would really enhance the place.)
A somewhat strange request...We were asked to wash beach towels (used after hot-tubbing) before leaving, but it seemed like a waste, as the sheets would have to be done upon our departure.
(And we were left with about a teaspoon of laundry detergent.)
We did enjoy our trip and would go back, if in the area again.

We found the cabin to be delightful. The location was nice and semi-secluded. Exciting turns up the mountain. Friendly hint — download the instructions for entry BEFORE you ascend the mountain due to there being zero cell service on the way up. Other than that it was a great stay.

The cabin was just right. Everything was well stocked and very clean. The only thing we didn't like was that 2nd bedroom up stairs is actually a loft. No door or privacy. The main floor bedroom lights didn't work as well. And the game room is just a game machine in the down stairs bed room. The roads are very narrow, steep and the turns are sharp. Traveling in something with 4wd and great tires are highly recommend. But overall we loved it here and we can not wait to return.

My wife and I have stayed here a few times and always return due to the cabin’s great views, quaintness and location.
The beds however fail our review. There is nothing comfortable about the bed in the lower bedroom. It is so old that you literally are sleeping in a bowl. We slept in the upstairs bed which was a bit better but the bed frame was broken. PLEASE ADDRESS THIS, owners/property manager.
